Istanbul is one of the world’s thriving cities with a population of 13 million people.

This city goes back all the way to the Ottomon Empire founded in 1299 and ended in 1922.

It is said to be one of the strongest empires in the world!

The city is built on two continents, divided by a strait named the Bosporus.

Flowing this strait you can see the skyline decorated with domes and minarets, illuminating the Islamic history and architecture.

There are many historical pieces to be uncovered here.

For example, the Hagia Sofia is  a beautifully built architecture, inside you can see two different religions embodying one building.

Christianity and Islam.

The arabic calligraphy of the name of God is written on some sections, and on other sections there are mosaic like patterns and stained glass windows.

In 537 AD the Hagia Sofia was the largest church in the world it later on changed into a mosque in 1453 and now it is a museum open to the public to admire the art inside.

Istanbul is a city of history, that is admired, uncovered and being lived.
